Introduction To Democracy

A New Way Forward: Imagine a Better Democracy

let's talk about the world we live in. We all know it, even though politicians might try to hide it: our system is seriously messed up. From the financial crisis of 2008 to the rise of leaders like Donald Trump, it's clear that things aren't working as they should. But guess what?

                             We're tired of politicians.

I believe in democracy, but not the kind we have now. I'm talking about a system that truly serves the people, where everyone has a say and corruption is a thing of the past.

So, here's my idea: let's bring direct democracy to the table. Imagine if we could make decisions on a state level, not just in cities. Take Switzerland, for example—they've got something good going on there.

Let's talk about Israel, where I'm from.

Our prime minister? Well, let's just say he's not exactly Mr. Clean. But I've come up with a plan to change things for the better.

Instead of a bunch of small parties fighting for power, let's simplify things. Two big parties—liberals and conservatives—where everyone gets a fair shot. And let's not forget term limits for the prime minister, just like they have in the US. Eight years max, and then it's someone else's turn.

But that's not all. How about we get rid of all the corruption? I'm talking about having real professionals in charge—doctors, economists, you name it. And as for the rest of the folks in Congress? Half liberals, half conservatives, all working together for the greater good.

I know it sounds like a big change, but hey, the world needs it. With technology on our side, I believe we can make it happen.

So if you're in a democratic country, let's vote for change—the kind of change we all need.
